“The Unbearable Lightness of a Nose” is a spectacle that Nikolai Gogol did not write…It is, however, a subject whose work and intelligence dominate and dominate from beginning to end.
The play, in collaboration with Centre of Higher Education in Theatre Studies, is an inventive composition inspired by the most characteristic and beloved works of the great Russian writer, namely “The Inspector”, “The Nose”, “The Matchmaking” mainly, but nuggets from his other writings, mainly literary ones are scattered throughout the text, in the situations and relationships of the characters.
